Savannah Bird Girl Piped Fountain Water Feature - The Savannah Bird Girl was originally sculpted in 1936 by Sylvia Shaw Judson for Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah, Georgia. The sculpture was created from the likeness of a young girl named Lorraine Ganz. This graceful work of art and the lovely town wherein she has stood these many years achieved considerable recognition when, in 1994, a photo of The Bird Girl appeared on the cover of the best selling novel, Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil by John Berendt. It is cast in durable heavy resin, making it suitable for either indoor or outdoor display. 37 1/2 inches high. Base is 12.5 wide x 8 deep x 2.75 high. It ships without the pump or tubing, but comes with easy instructions on how to set it up.
