The Bust Of Marie Antoinette by Houdon is finished in Museum White. Marie Antoinette of Hapsburg-Lorraine (1755-1793) was the daughter of Empress Maria Theresa of Vienna, Austria. In 1770 she married Louis XV's grandson, who, upon his grandfathers death in 1774, became the King Louis XVI of France. In 1793 she was beheaded having been tried and convicted of treason. Marie Antoinette is often looked upon as a major historical figure and part of pop culture.
