Our Greek Youth torso fragment statue is an adaptation of a Greek statue of the 2nd or 3rd century B.C. Reminiscent of the Athenian sculptor Praxiteles' often copied style, this model boasts a graceful and languid pose one hip lower with a raised shoulder, to produce the classic S-curve. Created in the New Roman style, this male fragment statue was cast by special agreement with a private British collector. Sculpted in a pose to suggest a victorious young hero, our impressive life-size sculptural torso is cast in quality designer resin, hand finished in a faux rough ebony stone and displayed to advantage on a metal museum mount.
