Odysseus Statue-Ulysses Bust
Odysseus - Ulysses Bust 13.5" High

F. Odysseus or Ulysses in Latin. Following the conclusion of the Trojan War (related by Homer in the Iliad), Odysseus, the king of Ithaca who had fulfilled his services in the war, set sail to return home. Beset by misfortune and perilous adventures, his return was delayed by more than ten years as told in Homer’s “The Odyssey” one of the greatest epic poems ever written. The bust is taken from two sources; an effigy on an ancient coin and a battered bust of Odysseus which is in a museum on the island of Ithaca. Shown in a hand painted finish,we can do a bronze finish for $298.00. Call for more information. And this will come on a wood base from reclaimed lumber, not the base as shown.
