About the God Apollo Piombino -This Bonded Stone, bronze patina bust of Apollo the Greek God of Piombino was sculptured from the bronze statue recovered from the sea near the town of Piombino on the west coast of Italy in 1832. It is thought that the original Piombino bronze statue of Apollo the Greek God came from Greece during the first part of the fifth century BC even though it bears some characteristics and striking resemblances of the sixth century BC statue of Apollo found at Piraeus.
